Description
These rocks didn’t ask to be photographed. They’ve been arranging themselves in tidal pools for millennia without permission from tourism boards or Instagram influencers. Iron oxide staining limestone in patterns that look intentional but aren’t. Green algae colonising surfaces nobody owns, repainting the composition with each tide using saltwater and time instead of brushes.
I photographed it from above — an aerial view of the Flinders coastline that turns geological process into abstract art. Erosion as accidental installation. Coastal chemistry performing colour experiments for an audience of crabs.
Print specifications: Dry-mounted to 5mm acid-free foam using archival adhesive. Printed on 310gsm Cotton Rag with Epson Ultrachrome Pro inks on an Epson P20070. Housed in a hand-sanded Victorian Ash shadowbox frame. Protected by museum-grade plexiglass. Available framed or unframed in two sizes.
Shipping
Prints are carefully packed and dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria. Unframed prints are rolled in archival tissue and shipped in rigid tubes. Framed prints are wrapped in foam and corner-protected in custom double-wall cardboard boxes.

Returns & Damage
Every print is inspected before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the damage within 48 hours of delivery and email hello@brettprice.com.au — we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
